The suspect is in the photo was described as a male or female, and wearing a “crossing guard” type safety vest. The vehicle involved was said to be following behind the Amazon delivery truck. The vehicle was described as red/maroon in color and a small sedan, like a Toyota or Sentra. A vehicle of this description was also spotted on, August 29th coming into the neighborhood at around 8:15am in the morning wearing the same type safety vest.

Siena Oaks Landscaping Red/Blue Reflector Issue

Dear Siena Oaks Homeowners,

We have been having an ongoing issue with some yards that have either a RED, BLUE, or BOTH reflectors visible in the front yards being serviced, particularly in the back yards. The majority of these have been homes with lots on the lake area. To help address this issue, if your home is located on the lake, and you do not want a landscaping service. Please also put a reflector, RED, BLUE, or BOTH on the back yard as well as the front. We found that the crews mowing the area around the lake, access that area from an easement entrance, not through the individual front of the house/fence gates. So, they may never see the front yard reflectors when servicing the back yards around the lake. If you are not on the lake, and you want your front yard serviced but not the back yard, you can put the reflectors just inside the gate to the back yard. Again, we are trying to address some of the issues with reflectors and having the vendor reiterate to the crews the reflectors. RED=NO YARD SERVICE OF ANY KIND. BLUE=NO CHEMICAL WEEDING.

Neighborhood Crime Discussion with PBG Police

A good size crowd participated in person and on Zoom as three members of the Palm Beach Gardens Police discussed the recent break-in and people looking for unlocked cars. In fact, the city and Siena Oaks in particular, has an extremely low crime rate, and there is nothing to worry about if you take basic precautions. Joining Police Chief Clint Shannon were Major Paul Rogers and Sergeant Jeneve Labossiere leader of the Community Involvement Unit. They invited anyone in the neighborhood to contact them if they have any questions.

Green Signs – By Popular Demand

To Siena Oaks residents:

Thanks to all of you who submitted your input via email or on our Facebook poll regarding the color options for the street sign replacement project.

Green was by far the preferred color, though black and blue both received some votes.

The board is grateful for opportunities like this to get input from our residents.  We look forward to the completion of this beautification project with new street signs and poles as early as late August.

Best regards,
Your Siena Oaks Board
